Wendy Bocci, Art Director
Wendy Bocci, a fabric artist who enjoys a lifelong fascination with cloth, primarily creates heirloom & contemporary quilts, photo collages, landscape tapestries, dolls, teddy bears, and pet portraits. By combining her skills in construction and craft with imagination and beauty, Wendy is able to transpose bits of material into engaging works of art that celebrate the human spirit.
She presently enjoys capturing the personal passions of others by placing their likeness in whimsical or unexpected environments. The subjects have found themselves traveling across the arid Southwest astride a huge tortoise, soaring through the night sky on a red-tailed hawk strumming an acoustic guitar, or like Ted Greene, sitting in his favorite teaching position superimposed over a Bach Chorale.
Wendy’s concept for the “Ted Greene Remembered” CD cover, combines her photograph of the legendary skyscape of Roswell, New Mexico with an existing photo of Ted playing his classic Fender Telecaster. To her, this image personifies the vastness of Ted’s musical knowledge, compassion, and inspiration to others.
